Question! Sa’n galing yung 1.6? (Hi, Nico!)Yung 1.6 is yung cropped censor value(?) if you’re using a cropped censor camera. Usually, your semi-pro and entry levels are cropped censor. However, 7Ds and higher models are full frame na.:D -
Yep! :D Go for focal length ng cropped. :D So 1000/(50*1.6)=12.5 seconds max bago magstart luminya yung stars. :D Also, wider lens=more stars! :D

Makikiepal lang, a rule of thumb I saw online was 1000/focal length for the maximum shutter speed to avoid stars trailing. :D
Wait. As in 1000/x where x is the focal length? tama ba? and focal length talaga nung lens or yung actual focal length pag di nakafull frame? ANG COOL. gusto ko itryyy.:))

Mikliii!! Yes, this would be perfect if clear din ang skies sa probinsya!! As in feeling ko mas wild yung stars don, tas wala pa masyadong electric posts (which became a problem while I was shooting here). And yes, seryoso yun. HAHA. Sayang nga e, if I could shoot at 30”, I wonder gano karaming stars makukuha ko. HAHA. And sort of nagwork din to my advantage pala yung 50 1.8, since I was not tempted to shoot wide? Dapat nga ata mas tele pa yung gamitin to do stars photography(?). But yeah, WEE. POST YOUR SHOOOOTS, OKAY?:))

anyway, our cam can go to 30” naman when in Manual, and even more than that pag nakaBulb, right? Pero I found out if I go beyond 5”, nagiging line na yung stars (since well, our earth is rotating haha). I think yung setting ko for that shot was at f/1.8, 5”, then ISO800? Sooo… you just gotta make up for your aperture through your ISO value na lang.:)) and since you shoot RAW naman, you won’t have issues removing the noise if you go up to ISO1600-2000?
